Water pallets already in the corner

A six-week water line written against stock that was already sitting in the warehouse.
Four stores sharing one warehouse. Weekly water units were steady except when a heat week arrived. June had been cautious: two extra pallets bought “in case”. The brief put those pallets on the forecast line so the Monday standing order would not add a third.
The buyer wanted a larger July number. We kept the cut and labelled the heat assumption as a guess beyond fourteen days. Mid-July did not produce the spike. The covering note stayed on the wall by the order sheet.
This excerpt is a replenishment brief, not a seasonal study. There is no Easter overlay and no markdown calendar. Grocery water does not wait for those pages.
