A till can look busy during a promotion and still leave a pallet. This review sits the promotional weeks beside the weeks before and after, for the same SKU family, and writes down how much of the spike was pulled forward from the following fortnight.

We ask for the mechanic, the dates, and whether a display went up. Without the display note we will understate the lift on the families that only sold from the pallet at the end of the aisle.

The review does not recommend the next promotional calendar. It answers a narrower question: did this ticket, in these stores, add units or merely move them. Buyers use it before repeating the same cut at Easter or New Year.
